Rosary High School seniors Maddie Stumm and Abby Watermann were named Girls Catholic Athletic Conference All-Conference champs! Maddy is All-Conference in basketball, and Abby is All-Conference in bowling. Congrats, ladies!

The Aurora Central Catholic Girls Basketball team won their IHSA 2A Girls Basketball Regional Semifinals and advanced to the Regionals this month. Way to go, Chargers!

WCC Basketball
The Waubonsee Community College Men's Basketball Team made history earlier this month, setting a new program record when the team reached 22 consecutive victories! The Chiefs’ remarkable run surpassed the previous record of 21 straight wins, set in 1990-91.

Ranked 11th nationally, the Chiefs dominated opponents throughout their streak, showcasing their high-powered offense and team depth. Waubonsee eventually extended its streak to 24 games with a 92-86 win over Elgin Community College on Feb. 6 before the run ended on Feb. 11. Despite the streak coming to a close, the Chiefs remain a force in the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) and are poised for continued success.

Batavia High School Boys and Girls Tennis Coach, Brad Nelson, was named the 2A Regional Girls Coach of the Year! It's an honor to receive this award across all Illinois high schools. Way to go, Coach Nelson and Batavia Tennis!

The Oswego East High School Dance Team finished 10th at the IHSA State Finals, while the Cheer Team finished 18th in the Large Division at the IHSA State Finals. Congratulations to these stellar athletes!

EASD131 Wrestling Champions
East Aurora High School’s Girls Wrestling team has already become one of the most dominant sports programs in East Aurora Athletics history! The team won their third consecutive Upstate 8 Conference title and now heads to the IHSA Regional Competition.

Founded only four years ago and with just 17 athletes, the girls wrestling team now has over 50 participants! At the competition, Noreidy Ruiz placed 1st in her class, Ruby Becerra and Yoheadi Contreras took 2nd in their respective classes, Brittany Chavarria placed 3rd, and Joselyn Llanos Ontiveros earned a 2nd place finish. Two athletes went onto Sectionals, while one is an alternate at the State competition.

Congrats to this incredible group of hardworking athletes!

IMSA Chess Team
IMSA's Chess Team secured a Sectional win--congratulations!

The FTC's Robotics team, the TITANS, had an outstanding performance at the Regional competition, earning the 3rd place Inspire Award. This award recognizes teams for their engineering, innovation, teamwork, and outreach efforts. Their hard work has secured them a spot at the Illinois State Championship.

The 8th Grade Boys Basketball team at Aurora Christian Schools defeated Joliet 40-35 to win the IESA 2A Regional Championship!

ACS Football player Ayden Zwick of Aurora Christian Schools was recently given a pretty incredible experience through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Ayden attended the NFL honors AND the Super Bowl! Ayden met Josh Allen--a highlight of his experience--and even wore his Aurora Christian football jersey to represent the Eagles on the field.

Kaneland High School Girls Volleyball Knights are Conference Champions for the first time in 20 years! Congratulations!

Blankets AU
The Aurora University Student-Athlete Committee (SAAC) hosted the 22nd annual AU Project Linus Initiative. Led by SAAC President Olivia Buzzeli, the group set an ambitious goal of making 150 blankets--the highest target in the event's history! These handmade blankets will be donated to pediatric patients at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital.

Good luck to 11 IHSA State wrestling qualifiers who will be heading to the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana to participate in the STATE FINALS! We wish them all the best!

WAHS Boys Basketball
The West Aurora Boys and Girls Basketball programs won their respective Upstate 8 Conference, making them champions!

The Boys team are currently 19-8 with 14 straight wins, while the Girls team sports a record of 21-4.
