All Right Southsiders the Sox are back and looking to break a three-season skid of losing over 100 games. Since the rebuild started back in 2022 the Sox have just traded away talent and have really looked bad. Fans have been hanging their heads as this proud franchise has continued to fall. However, joy will return to Mudville this season there is light at the end of the tunnel the Sox are building something exciting with the youth movement building around their new core of young players of Kyle Teel, Colson Montgomery, and Muntetta Murkami. The Sox General Manager is building something out of nothing, taking over a heavy payroll with injured veterans who could not be on the field which led to the rebuild. With a 78 million dollar payroll the Sox have opted to build from the ground up and use their farm system to build their future.
Fast forward to now the Sox has a unique balance of Veteran Leadership and youth in the Clubhouse and with the AL Central the Sox can surprise people and see a possible 12 game improvement over last seasons of 60 wins. Focusing on improvement in pitching, hitting, and defense will be the team’s focus. White sox manger Will Venable will continue to work with the Staff and players to continue improving performance. This season we will need to have patience, but this will be an improved and fun squad to watch and stay tuned here as we get ready for Opening Day here.
