ADA Transition Plan Public Meeting
The Village is developing an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan to improve the accessibility of local sidewalks, curb ramps, intersections, and other pedestrian facilities throughout the community.
Residents and stakeholders are invited to attend a Public Meeting to learn about the project and share input on accessibility needs and priorities. The meeting will be held on March 26, from 5-7 p.m., at the Village Hall.

The Village is creating a Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) to regulate future growth and development. This code will combine current Zoning and Subdivision regulations into one clear, modern document. We need your input to help shape it. Citizen's Police & Fire Academy
There's still time to apply for this spring's Police & Fire Academy! Would you like to learn more about crime scene processing or how the Fire Department gets people out of a vehicle after a crash? Are you interested in learning more about emergency response in the community? If so, then the Citizen's Police & Fire Academy is for you! The program is 12 weeks long and classes are held on Tuesday evenings. Applications are available online; please submit your completed application by March 24.

119th Street Update
This week, the contractor completed drainage improvements and driveway entrance work. Next week, the contractor will be performing utility work along the south side of 119th Street, weather permitting. Periodic, temporary lane closures should be anticipated.

Yard Waste Collection Resumes Next Month
Yard waste collection resumes with your first pickup in April. Brush, grass clippings, and leaves should be placed in brown yard waste bags or a Waste Management yard waste cart. Branches must be tied in 4-foot bundles weighing 45 pounds or less. Please note: mulch, sod, stumps, dirt, stones, and landscape bricks/pavers are not accepted as yard waste.
