Wallin Drive Construction
Roadwork on Wallin Drive, from IL-126 to Presidential Avenue, will resume the week of April 20 as part of the improvements for the Keller Farm development. Work includes milling the existing pavement, installing two layers of asphalt, and pavement markings. Construction is expected to take approximately two weeks, weather permitting. Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures, with traffic control measures and flaggers in place. Please use caution and allow extra time when traveling through the area.

Riverfront Spring Cleanup
The Riverfront Foundation is hosting a Spring Cleanup tomorrow, April 18, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Volunteers, 12 years of age and older, are welcome to participate. This is a great opportunity to get service hours! Click here for details.

We're updating our HOA contact list and need your help!
Construction season is upon us and we're updating the Village's HOA database so we can contact subdivisions that are slated for road resurfacing. If you are new to your subdivision's HOA Board, please e-mail the Village your contact information (name, phone, e-mail address, subdivision, and Board position). That way, we can provide information regarding work that is scheduled to occur in your subdivision.

119th Street Update
The contractor continues to work on traffic signal preparation at the Woodman’s entrance along 119th Street. In addition, they are working on underground storm sewer and new asphalt pavement at various locations along 119th Street.

Medication Disposal
The Police Department is participating in the DEA National Takeback Day on Saturday, April 25. You can dispose of unwanted medications at the Law Enforcement Center from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. For more information regarding this event, click here.

Old Town South Neighborhood Improvements
A Public Information Meeting/Open House for the Old Town South project will be held on May 6, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., at the Village Hall. Please feel free to attend, see exhibits and details of the proposed improvements, and provide feedback. The project area includes the following streets: Hartong, Chicago, Ottawa, Miles, Park, Lakeside, Dillman, Corbin, Union Street, and Union Place. More information.

Electronics & Hazardous Waste Collection
Will County is hosting a Residential Electronics & Hazardous Waste Drop-off Event on May 9 in Plainfield. Electronics, household chemicals, televisions, paint, motor oil, light bulbs, and more will be accepted. This event is by appointment only.
