Oswego's Strategic Plan
Strategic Plan
Oswego is growing with purpose.

On Feb. 3, the Village Board officially adopted the 2026-2030 Strategic Plan, built using feedback from the 2025 Community Survey and leadership planning sessions.

This plan will:
• Prioritize budget items that align with community goals
• Strengthen collaboration across departments
• Align Village initiatives with updated mission, vision and values
• Complement the Police Department’s internal strategic plan

Vision: Setting the standard of excellence while growing with purpose and nurturing our sense of community.
Mission: Deliver innovative and outstanding services that exceed community expectations.
Values: Collaboration, Belonging, Integrity, Accountability, Innovation and Efficiency

It’s more than a document, it’s a roadmap for excellence, innovation and accountability.
