Police Department Introduces Blue Envelope Program
The Blue Envelope program is an initiative to assist drivers with autism in notifying Police Officers of any pertinent information related to their diagnosis in the event they are pulled over. Drivers place their driver's license, insurance, and any other information they would like to share into a blue envelope. Officers are trained to recognize the significance of the envelope and use the information to better serve our autistic community. Envelopes are available at the Village Hall and Police Department.
