Bears fell short against the Rams 20 to 17 in overtime. The Bears were driving at the end of the game and Quaterback Caleb Williams threw an Interception that allowed the Rams to convert a field goal ending this historic season. Although the Bears fell short in their quest to return to the Super Bowl, that did make a Giant step in going from worst to first in one season under Ben Johnson.
With the offseason upon us now the Bears will position themselves to reload for the 2026 season. With eight draft picks coming up in the draft and with about 40 million in cap space after redoing key veterans’ contracts. The Bears will focus on the Defensive Side of the Ball. The need in this offseason is to add depth on the Defensive Line at Tackle and add an edge rusher. In secondary Bears need to lock up a few players like Brisker, Wright and Byrad to lock up the Secondary.
On the Offensive Side of the Ball Bears need to lock up the left tackle spot and focus on continuing growing Caleb Williams and exploring new opportunities that this offensive gives them in the run and pass game. Focus on developing young Offensive Line and focus on locker room development.
Looking at the offseason there will be allot of surprises and changes coming as we continue to push to get back the Super Bowl and focus on improving last season huge step in the right direction.
